The Village of Bellevue seeks a high-energy, collaborative public works professional to direct a broad range of services including water, wastewater and stormwater utilities, streets and facilities maintenance. The ideal candidate is an innovative and collaborative thinker. The Director is responsible for managing the activities and operations of the Public Works Department including developing plans, goals, objectives, and action steps for the Department, advising the Village Administrator on matters pertaining to departmental functions, and contributing to overall Village management as a member of the Village's executive leadership team. The Director is responsible for leading a department of nine full-time employees, as well as managing $1.5 million in general fund and $7.6 million in utility budgets. Orascoptic is looking for a Sr. Product Development Engineer who will be responsible for the definition, planning, coordination, and execution of assigned projects which may include mechanical and electromechanical new product development, sustaining engineering, or process improvement projects. He/she ensures project budget, project schedule, product cost, and product reliability targets are accurately forecasted and executed to meet the requirements of the Company. This individual will maintain regular communication with the project team, design partners, and management. They will have the opportunity to learn the innerworkings of the R&D department and the broader Orascoptic business.
