The Village of Bellevue seeks a high-energy, collaborative public works professional to direct a broad range of services including water, wastewater and stormwater utilities, streets and facilities maintenance. The ideal candidate is an innovative and collaborative thinker. The Director is responsible for managing the activities and operations of the Public Works Department including developing plans, goals, objectives, and action steps for the Department, advising the Village Administrator on matters pertaining to departmental functions, and contributing to overall Village management as a member of the Village's executive leadership team. The Director is responsible for leading a department of nine full-time employees, as well as managing $1.5 million in general fund and $7.6 million in utility budgets.
